Advice needed - on pill since I’m about 17 so 7/8 years no break started on combined pill and then mini about 2 years ago. I was thinking of coming of it completely but terrified of what my period will be like. Is it likely it’ll come back to what it was heavy bleeding & cramping or given the fact I’m older might it have settle down a little bit? Would just like to give my body a break Brand: Cerazette

No major changes in my period when I got off the pill. My cramps were slightly more painful but thats it, my period returned to its regular cycle pretty much right away. Honestly, everyone’s experiences getting on/off birth control are so drastically different. Some people’s posts might scare you but the only way to know is trying it for yourself if you feel it’s the best decision for you.

Hi I came off the pill in May after 7 years on it and my periods have been totally fine, they settled down pretty quick and I didn’t experience any negative effects of coming off the pill, other than my acne coming back, unsurprisingly as that’s one of the reasons I was on the pill. Actually my periods are now way better than they used to be before I went on the pill. They’re a little irregular at the moment but I’ve been traveling for 3 months now so the lack of routine is defo not helping lol
