You want to avoid extremely hot or extremely cold temperatures, it can make them ineffective. My pill packaging has a temperature range for storage (20 to 25 C / 68 to 77 F) with excursions permitted up to slightly higher temps. If it's getting warm outside where you live, inside your car can get quite hot and it's not recommended to keep them there.

Yes it matters, keep them stored in a dry, cool place at room temperature and avoid direct sunlight. Not doing so may affect your pills.

On your box or in your pamphlet will tell you what temperature is safe to keep them at it will often be a range like 15C-30C ( C for Celsius) otherwise having them outside that range could damage the pill making it less effective in some cases

Yes, it’s not recommended to store medication in cars as the temperature can get extremely hot and extremely cold, which can damage and decrease the efficiency of the medication.
