I’m currently taking combined pill Evelyn. I normally take my pill at 6pm everyday, but I have an event on today and didn’t want to carry my pills with me in the heat so I took it at 3pm. My app is saying that I’ve been inconsistent and may not be protected, but I thought I had a 12 hour window? I’ve also been taking all my pills at the same time before today.

Do you have your usage window on the app set at 12 hours? It may not be, either way you’re right about the 12 hours thing and the app is just old too

This app often (inaccurately) says that when taking pills early. If you’re following your pamphlet’s instructions then ignore what the app says.

The app isn’t advanced enough into telling you your protection rate. Follow your pamphlet instructions and only use the app to mark down if you’ve taken a pill or not. Don’t rely on it for information.
