I got an iud around 2 months ago. I have never had pain from sex before but now it is uncomfortable when he first goes in and after, but not during. It more of an external pain with some burning and last for around 30-60 minutes. I wanted to come here and ask because it will be 3 weeks before I can get in to see my doctor. Thank you 🙂

TW: blood There is also so bright red bleeding afterwards too that seems to be external not internal. It’s not much but just a few spots/streaks.

IUD’s are in your uterus so pain in your vaginal opening most likely isn’t related to your IUD. I recommend seeing a doctor for sure. It could be an infection, an STI, just general dryness or not being aroused enough, etc.
