hello! i had my last period around may 3rd or something. I have been taking my pill ever since. I missed a pill this wednesday & had sex on monday. I realized i missed my pill while i was @ work. I took it when i came home. 22 hours later than i shouldve. I took my thursday pill my normal time yesterday. Am i safe?

What does you pamphlet say about missed pills and periods? Most that I’ve read say that if you miss two bleeds in a row it’s a good idea to take a pregnancy test just in case.

The lack of period is fine but the missed pill could still be a worry, what specific pill are you on? Some combined pills have a 12 hour window and some a 24 hour window. If you have a 12 hour window then it was definitely a missed pill, if it’s a 24 hour window then I’d still be careful. You had unprotected sex a couple before the missed pill right? I think that’s unlikely to get you pregnant, but I’d suggest using additional protection until you’ve taken 8 pills at your usual time.

Most combined pills have a 24 hour time frame in which to take a pill. Also most combined pills allow for a missed pill anywhere in the pack. And even if that wasn’t the case, as you skip your break week then you’re perfectly fine to miss a pill.

Oh, right! Yes I forgot, a missed pill when you skip breaks can just be considered a one day break. Thank you @bluerose9
