Does it matter how many days I have my pill free days? I was recommended 4-7 days by a nurse when I first started and has been taking only 4 pill free days. I’m thinking to change that to 7 days as recommended on the pamphlet but will it be any different? Has anyone experienced any change with the flow of the withdrawal bleeding?

What’s the reason why you want to change your break days? It does not guarantee your bleeds with change, but there is a possibility. I am a bigger fan of shorter break weeks or skipping them completely as it eliminates most user error that could occur.

^ shorter break weeks help reduce user error, if you forget to start your new pack on the 5th day that’s no big deal but if you took a 7 day break and forgot to start your new pack on time you may become unprotected.

You can take up to 7 days anything after that you’ll be unprotected
