Is marriage a dealbreaker to you? If you wanted to get married but your partner changed his mind, would you stay with them?

If I wanted to get married and my partner is dead set on never wanting to, then yes, that is a reason for me to leave. However if it’s still up for question and you’re early on in the relationship I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.

For me it's not, I have always been ambivalent about marriage and don't see it as necessary to have a fulfilling relationship. I could be okay with marriage or no marriage depending on the relationship and how me and my partner feel about it.

If I wanted to get married and my partner didn’t then it would be a dealbreaker. I think disagreeing on marriage and kids is a fundamental sign that you aren’t compatible.

I agree with @aurielle but it’s up you to decide how important it is. Have you discussed with your partner on why he changed his mind?

It’s not a dealbreaker but personally if my boyfriend wants me to carry his children then I want to be married first. I won’t be doing that for just a boyfriend

If my boyfriend suddenly changed his mind about getting married it definitely would be a dealbreaker for me. Marriage is very important to me, especially if we have kids. I don’t want to have kids without marriage.
