For those that use retainers, I am at home from university for about a week and I forgot my retainers (I have worn them fairly regularly for 6 years) will this be a problem not wearing them for about a week?

In my experience, no. It might be a bit uncomfortable initially and your teeth might be slightly tender the following day but it’s totally fine

I haven’t worn my retainers for around 2-3 months now because they broke and I’m waiting on new ones and my teeth seem fine. I also do have wiring on the back of my teeth though which holds them in place. If you don’t have a wire then they’re more likely to move but they’re not gonna move heaps within a week
