i have irregular periods due to taking cerelle contraceptive for 6+ years now, i took rigvedon for 2yrs prior to that. my last was a couple days of old bloodshed in july, then prior to that, cycle was (since start of 2026), january, march, may, july. all for 4-6 days bleeding. this is a lot more regular for me than usual (before i might’ve gone 4-5 months at a time without a period). i know it’s not true bleeding when on POP. i am not pregnant as tested about a week before this period started. this time round my period has been painful.. dysmenorrhea type cramps, and heavy flow+(leaking through clothes), and i have vomited twice. is this normal and/or should i tell my GP? thanks

Irregular bleeding is a common side effect of the mini pill. Bleeding/not bleeding doesn’t really mean anything. Missing pills can lead to experiencing heightened side effects. Definitely get checked out if you’re getting very intense pain and very heavy bleeding out of the blue
