I have a friend that I previously mentioned her in a different thread a while ago, I believe I called her Jessica. Anyways I really don’t want to be friends with her anymore and I’m not sure how to go about having that conversation with her, without causing drama. She says some very out of pocket things to me that really hurt my feelings. I did have a conversation with her a while ago about how she treats me and how she makes me feel and she said she was sorry. However there has been no change she is still very mean to me. What should I tell her?

I have had a few of toxic/mean friends as a teenager and the best thing I did for myself was to let them go. It can be tough and heartbreaking at first but if you truly can’t deal with the friendship anymore it’s best to move on. I’ve learned from experience.

I think your two options are to directly explain to her that since her behavior hasn't changed, you no longer want to continue the friendship or to slowly distance yourself from her (stop responding, making plans etc)
