Hi girls. I think I got a UTI and the doc gave me macrobid. I been using the search feature and the girls mention there should be no interactions with BC and my pamphlet doesn’t mention it either. But the pharmacist says you do and to use back up? But I thought there were only two actually known antibiotics that reduce the efficacy? Can any one help clear up my anxiety? @blisseyxo_ would u also by any chance know if it’s okay to drink alcohol on macrobid too? Half the pharmacists said it’s fine half said no. And it’s driving me nuts LOL

this is what the nhs website says! i personally would avoid it especially as you have a uti and you tend to pee more when drinking
