Hello. I’m on birth control pills, but I usually throw up in the afternoon due to stomach problems. I take my birth control religiously at night time and I NEVER throw up after I take my pills. So I usually throw up about 8-10hrs after I take my pills. Does that affect my birth control?? Also, my bf and I had sex and the condom came off inside me, but he didn’t finish. What are my chances of getting pregnant?

Vomiting only affects the pill if you throw up within 3 hours of taking a pill, in which case you should take another pill when you’re sure you won’t throw up again. If you’re using the pill correctly then your chance of pregnancy is extremely low. You’re not at risk of pregnancy, the pill is doing its job.

@cakeeeee bleeding on the pill is just a side effect and not a real natural period. So bleeding is not necessarily an indication that you’re not pregnant and not bleeding isn’t necessarily an indication that you’re pregnant either. Taking your pill correctly and accounting for anything that might interfere with its effectiveness is the best way to know you’re not pregnant.cakeeeee
