I’ve been on the mini pill since October 2023.. in that time I had adjustment breakthrough bleeding once in the first 6 months. I’m now 8 days into breakthrough bleeding a year and a half later, is this normal? If so how long should breakthrough bleeding last at maximum before I need to go to the doctors (trying to avoid that since I am currently travelling and it’ll be hard for me to see a doctor in another country). Also I’m not sure if this is related but 5 days ago my right breast became very tender and firm to the touch, so much so that it hurt to touch. The pain has subsided but it is still very tender, can this be due to the fluctuation in my hormones. I consistently take this pill and haven’t missed any. I did take a Japanese medication last week for congestion and have had adverse side effects and stopped taking it immediately.. could this be the explanation. Thank you for any advice.
