Hi!!
My boyfriend and I had sex last night and unfortunately he did not pull out in time LOL. I have been on birth control for almost 3 months now and have never missed a pill, and yesterday was my the last day of my period (I stopped bleeding about 4 hours before we had sex). Should I take a plan B because of this or is my birth control enough protection? I am very anxious about becoming pregnant and don’t understand enough about birth control and sex yet 🥲🥲

I think you should definitely take a plan b. There’s still a % of being pregnant while being on birth control.

If you’re using your pill correctly you’re protected by the pill, including during break weeks. The pill is designed to be a stand alone method of contraception. You don’t need plan b.
I would recommend using condoms until you’re fully comfortable going without. Not worth the stress.

Taking plan B unnecessarily is not good for you at all, so you definitely should not take it. If you’re using your pill correctly you have nothing to worry about.
The pull out method does absolutely nothing, as live sperm will still enter you with precum. If you don’t trust your birth control you should be using condoms.

@MimiRillaa_ please don’t try and make people scared on here. Birth control is fully reliable if the user knows what they are doing.

In this {ju4AJhNZO} from earlier this month you said you would start using a second form of contraceptive. I think it’s a good thing you will start doing that now because this anxiety you have is not worth it.

Birth control is your protection. If you don’t trust it then either refrain from having sex or use condoms as well.

@puffles do you struggle with anxiety often? Are you getting any professional help for it? I think it will greatly improve your life to work on it so you don’t have to be so stressed about things.
