I am considering getting off of birth control immediately. I have experienced spotting for the past 4 months. It starts with brown spotting and doesn’t stop until I stop taking my pills for a week. I just ended my period on 11/25/2025 and I am having brown discharge again on 12/10/2025. It is very frustrating. I take my pills on time give or take maybe 20-30 minutes early or late but I never exceed 1 hour. I don’t know how to stop this brown discharge as it hasn’t been 21 days since I took my last break week. Are there any recommendations for what I can do to stop the brown discharge?

I swapped from Simpesse earlier this year — in March.

@Lomendaeh sounds like this new brand just isn’t for you. I’d swap to a different method or pill again.
