Hi, I’ve been having a bit more anxiety recently, and wondering if I should investigate whether it’s related to the pill? I have had a few changes in my life recently, nothing bad just different, but quite a severe increase in anxiety that I feel pretty much everyday in some way. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the pill or not, wondering if anyone has any advice, I’ve had a bit of depression before I started the pill so mental health issues aren’t new to me, I just don’t know whether it’s worth seeing about changing my pill, which works very well for me, no side effects really. Is it a better idea to see about getting some sort of professional help before changing pill? Or go that route first? I’ve been on the pill since February, but this has only recently been an issue in the last 2/3 months. Any advice is really appreciated x

If it’s only recent then I don’t think it’s the pill. I’d say it’s linked to the recent changes you’ve had in your life, small changes can deeply affect you even if they’re positive, change is still change and a lot of change at once can be overwhelming. Hope you feel better soon x

I would look into getting professional help and investigating the issue holistically from all angles before assuming its the pill. There are many things it could be and its also normal for mental health to fluctuate without an obvious cause. The pill is just one factor to consider.
