So as you’re on the combined pill, you no longer ovulate or have a real natural cycle, you’re on a synthetic cycle now, so you do not have real natural periods anymore. Any bleeding is a side effect of the pill. Any bleeding during the break week is a withdrawal bleed as it’s a side effect from the withdrawal of active hormones. Any bleeding while taking active pills is called breakthrough bleeding, unfortunately a common side effect of the pill.
As long as you’re using your pill correctly it doesn’t matter if you bleed or not, your pill is still working.
