i have a question for anyone working in the medical field. I’m currently a first year in college at a 4 year. I really want to become a nurse but the program at my school only accepts 24 out of 300 applicants after our 2nd year. would u guys recommend going to a 4 year or a 2 year program to become a RN? i really have no idea what to do

I’m currently enrolled in a 4 year college. I’d say go for the 4 year degree if you have the money and the work ethic to do it. I’m getting my nursing degree then going to become a nurse anesthetist. They told me that if I got my 2 year degree i wouldn’t be able to continue going with my education if I wanted to in the future. I’d definitely try and get in to the 4 year and see what happens. It can be more beneficial in the long run.
