The birth control implant is over 99% effective in preventing pregnancy and is a long-acting reversible contraceptive. Some common side effects may include irregular bleeding, headaches, and changes in mood. It's important to consult with your healthcare provider to discuss your options and determine if the birth control implant is the right choice for you based on your individual health needs and preferences.

The implant is one of the most effective methods. I’ve had one for 2 years now, love it. Possible side effects are the same as any other type of hormonal birth control.
