Can someone please give me some help and advice this is gonna be abit long so I’m really sorry!.. I’m 22 and I have been on Accutane ( which is a medication I take to help my acne ) anyway I have 3 months left and then I am doing! To be on it I had to make sure I take birth control as it can cause serious baby Defects. So I started the DEPO Injection i was none stop bleeding I felt so unwell depressed which is also a effect of accutane too but both together was to much for me. So they put me on the mini pill called ( DESOGESTREL ) been on it for not even a month now. At the start the bleeding stopped then I actually got Thrush! I got rid of thrush and then started to bleed again so my PH is all messed up as I have been on 2 different contraceptions ! today for the first time I found a 2 clots in my pad they was small like a bit smaller then a grape. But I have never had one before so I am abit scared and don’t really know what going on with my down stairs area. I have been on google which I really wished I didn’t do as that just tells you the worst. Is it because my down stairs area is all over the place or could it be Accutane I’m really worried don’t know if thud is normal. If it’s not I will just stop taking accutane! Please someone give me some advice would mean a lot.

On the Accutane pamphlet it lists the different side effects so it's worth taking a look at your box and/or consult your dermatologist. You could ask for a lower dose as then the side effects are reduced.

I was on Accutane for year and had no changes in my vaginal area/fluids personally. I think whats affecting you is the birth control. But of course, talk to your derm!
