Hello, i need help please, I’ve been on combination pill for almost a year now, i’ve always had my period on the 5th break day, but this time around i only got a very light spotting, and i saw it once on my pad and mostly when i wipe in the bathroom. I’m scared, i took a pregnancy test and it’s negative. What do i do?

Birth control can change your bleeding patterns even years into using it. The bleeding you may experience is not an actual period, but rather a synthetic bleed, as you do not ovulate when using the combined pill correctly. This is why it does not matter whether you bleed or not, it doesn’t really tell you anything. If you use your pills correctly you have nothing to fear.
