If you take it the same time everyday, it will be 99% effective. And if you are changing times monthly, remember you are only protected if you have taken the pill for 7 days or more in a row…

If you take it within your pills allowed time frame and account for anything that may decrease your pill’s effectiveness (such as illness, certain medications), you’re protected. You don’t have to take it exactly the same time everyday for it to be effective, it just needs to be within your pill’s allowed timeframe.
