Hello, I need some advice and reassurance. I take the combination birth control. I’ve never missed a pill and take it at relatively the same time everyday (between 10pm-11pm) my boyfriend also pulls out. He pulls out about a minute before ejaculation and has never failed at this. But I’m still worried I could be pregnant. At the start of this week I noticed I was peeing more than usual which isn’t really that uncommon for me, but because I am so scared of pregnancy i took it as a sign of pregnancy. I am really scared, I took a test a week ago, using first morning pee and it was negative. But I’m still really scared.

If you use your pills correctly you’re fine. Pulling out doesn’t actually counts as contraception and shouldn’t be used as such. It isn’t actually a “method” as people tend to call it, it’s still accompanied by live sperm. But again: if you use your pills correctly you’re fine. If you don’t trust your birth control to protect you from pregnancy you should really be adding condoms to your routine. Are you drinking more than you were before? Because it’s normal to pee more often then. Otherwise it sounds more like an active or developing UTI and it may be worth seeing a doctor to get your urine tested for infections.
