i’m 7 weeks postpartum today i still haven’t gotten my period, i started birth control pills a week ago, but was sexually active unprotected but used the pull out method before i started them (girl i know, how stupid) the pregnancy test at my ob was negative. i guess my question is, is it normal to not have started my period still? or should i be worried?

Have you been breastfeeding? That can keep your period away and so can the pills now.

Since you’re back on birth control pills you may not bleed as you don’t have your natural cycle while on it. You should take a pregnancy test 21 days after the unprotected sex to get the most accurate result.
