I’ve just started taking the combined pill again after around a year of being off it. My plan was to take 3 packs in a row and then have the 7 day break, to reduce the amount of withdrawal bleeds i have. I’m nearly at the end of the second pack and I have been breakthrough bleeding for nearly 2 weeks. Is this normal as my body is adjusting? This hasn’t happened to me before however I would normally have a break at the end of every pack.

You need to adjust all over again. You can’t really rely on your previous experience as it can be completely different now. But it is entirely normal to experience side effects even after the adjustment phase. I don’t know if your doctor or insurance is aware that you are skipping breaks, but it’s good to check as you’d need additional refills.
