I’m on the pill nearly a year now. During the week I had sex but I taught that my boyfriend finished inside me (which he never does), however he said that he didn’t and then a few minutes after finished and there was a lot of it. Do you think I would know or he would know if he did finish in me? Since then, I have been anxious about been pregnant and feeling nauseous every morning I wake up. I also feel like I’m going to toilet more often. I haven’t had diarrhoea but my stomach has been off the last few days. Do you think I should be worried?

If you have not been using condoms then you are fully relying on the pill for pregnancy prevention whether he finishes in you or not, the pull out method is not reliable. If you use your pill correctly you’re protected, so no you have no reason to be worried.

I take my pill at the same time everyday and have not missed a pill. Does that mean I have been using it correctly?

@Sarahjanesan taking it within your pill’s specified time frame and accounting for things that decrease the effectiveness of the pill (including severe diarrhoea, vomiting within 3 hours of taking the pill, certain medications, the herbal remedy St John’s wort) counts as taking it correctly
