So I need advice. I’m currently on birth control pills and I take them everyday faithfully. This month, I started a new pack and forgot to take the first pill of the pack but the following day I took the pill along with the second pill and every since then I’ve been taking them regularly but me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex and he pulled out but I’m scared that I could be pregnant due to my missed pill. 💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊🍭🍭🍭🍭⚠️🍭🍭‼️💊💊💊💊💊⏱ Brand: Tri-Sprintec

If you had sex during the break (so the week before the first pill you‘ve missed) or during the first week - there is a change you were not protected. Protection with a missed pill in the first week is only guaranteed after 7 consecutive pills. I personally would take a test after 19 days, just to be sure :)

What does your pamphlet say about missing a pill in week 1? Chances are you’re completely fine.

For a peace of mind I checked your pamphlet online and you do not need a backup method. You remain protected if you miss a singular active pill. I’m not sure if you can see images but your pamphlet states the following: ——— WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISS PILLS If you MISS 1 gray, light blue, or blue “active” pill: 1. Take it as soon as you remember. Take your next pill at your regular time. This means you may take 2 pills in 1 day. 2. You do not need to use a back-up birth control method if you have sex. —— And then it goes on what to do when you miss 2 or more, but that’s not your case.
