hi everyone. i am concerned at the moment as I have been continuously bleeding for 2 weeks straight despite being on my pill. i missed just one pill 2 weeks ago and a couple days after i started bleeding and it hasn’t stopped and i have not missed anymore. i have missed a single pill multiple times before and i have been on this same pill since 2023, but i have never ever bled like this before. my cramps are really painful and i feel dizzy as well as migraines and bad headaches. i spoke to a doctor, let her know i am currently skipping my break (i didnt skip the one before), and told her i missed a pill 2 weeks ago and she let me know the reason for the bleeding is because i missed a pill and the reason for the dizziness and headaches is possibly to do with my eyes. now she could be correct but i have never seen anything like this happen to me before so i am truly worried. should i keep taking my pill until my next break and see if i am still bleeding then, or should i take a break now? does anyone know what this might be? thank you!

Unfortunately irregular bleeding and cramps are normal side effects after missing pills. Skipping break weeks can also sometimes lead to experiencing side effects. It’s up to you if you want take a break week now, as long as you’ve taken at least 7 pills in a row correctly you’re definitely safe to do that. The dizziness and migraines is definitely something I would get medical advice on if it continues
