This is the third time I’ve started my period or bleeding after sex. Is this like a thing? I’ve been on norethindrone/micronor for at least six months five or take now so this is just odd. The first time this happened was like maybe three or four weeks ago and happened once again in between then and now. I notice it starting because of cramping the day after sex and then I bleed a little then cramp a lot and bleed moderately for a week. I’m guessing I should call my obyn. Has anyone had this happen? I heard it’s from the contractions during orgasm but not sure.

I experience this as well. It can happen from penetration. My doctor said it was nothing to be concerned about, however, it’s always good to ask if you have concerns.

@sweetlily alrighty thank you. Has the bleeding lessened up at all or is randomized/ frequent etc? I’m glad it’s nothing to worry about it’s just annoying at most.

had the same thing after every sex, saw a doctor and have had multiple appointments and referrals and scans surrounding it and it ended up being fine, always good to go down that path !
