So I just have a question hopefully someone can help me with some advice please and thank you. I’m on birth control Sprintec and so I ended up missing a pill on Sunday Feb 21 so I took it the minute I remembered however on the 26th Friday me and my bf were fooling around and he “finished” inside me .. I ended up taking Plan B the next day Saturday the 27th and now I’m continuing taking my pills regularly. Now my question is was that the smart thing to do or once I took plan b I shouldn’t have continued the pill? Also in case it helps I take birth control for my PCOS

Are you sure you missed it? How late did you take it?

@bebeyoda_ I normally take it at 11pm but I came home from work and just went straight to sleep but then I took it at 7am and then continued taking it at the regular time

@bebeyoda_ would that count as missing it or since sprintec is a combination do I have like 12hr period before it’s actually missed ?

You have a 24 hour window, not 12. You didn’t need to take plan b at all.

Well then lol ... now I know, so I’m guessing I should keep taking my bc then ... also thank you so much for response and help!!

Know that you could experience some side effects from taking the Plan B. You could experience irregular bleeding or something so if you notice that don’t worry.

@Pandafan1 will I experience the irregular bleeding even if I continue to take my bc?

Yes there is a possibility that you could experience break through bleeding.
