I’ve skipped placebo weeks in the past into a new pack to skip my period and I was always fine and still timely the next month. This month I did a “two day placebo” and started the next pack in order to delay my future periods by two days (starting a period on Fridays instead of Wednesdays) However, after the two day placebo, even on the new pack, I got my period and it was done in my regular time. It’s been a week since my period is over and I’m having bleeding again??? Is this normal? I had my Pap smear yday too but today I felt hormonal emotionally and some cramps and the brownish period color. Any insights since this is so new to me???

Your body probably just decided to bleed unfortunately you cannot put bleeding on a schedule, even if it’s been working for a while. If you’re bleeding while taking active pills it’s just breakthrough bleeding, nothing you can really do about it but wait it out.

@seechell but it’s normal? Like nothing to worry about? I def wanna assume it’s my body trying to adjust from my random 2 day placebo and going into a new pack but never had breakthrough bleeding so want to be sure

Yeah it’s a very common side effect, your body is not a robot or machine so you can expect that to happen at any given moment.
