Hi so I’ve been on Nuva ring for one cycle and have had my second ring in for one week. Me and my boyfriend do NOT want kids but like the idea of finishing inside of me. How likely is it that I get pregnant on my second cycle of nuva ring? I also took my first one out early as I put it in around 2:30 the first time and took it out around 12 so… I don’t know how perfect I’ve used it. I put it back in at 2:30 for my second cycle though. I’m just nervous and I don’t want kids but we’ve been wondering if it’s worth a try.

You’re protected immediately if you start using it on the first day of your period. Any other day it will take a week to take effect.
This information can be found in your pamphlet, please read it if you do not want to end up pregnant.

@Yi_eune what if it was after my seven day break? I didn’t put it on my first day of my period as it was during my break week but immediately put it in when I was supposed to. Am I immediately protected or should I wait 7 days

@meow89 a break week does not leave you unprotected so I’m confused about what you’re asking. If you follow the instructions of your ring you’ll be protected (they can be found in your pamphlet).
