Question, I got of my period on Monday and I’m about to start taking birth control this Sunday for a Sunday start. Will I be protected right away or should I complete a month pack ?

You won't be protected right away because its not within the first 5 days of your period.

You will be protected after you take your 8th pill. Please read your pamphlet, it has these instructions and more.

I wish your doc had informed you that you didn’t have to wait and do Sunday start. That’s old outdated info and I hate that they don’t tell people the right info. You won’t be protected for at least a week after you start.
