I have been on the mini pill for a few months now, haven’t bled for over three months. I have recently found out I might have a stomach ulcer and I have low iron. I have been given lansoprazole (which I haven’t started yet) and 5mg folic acid. I start the folic acid three days ago and have just noticed I am spotting, could this be due to the folic acid? I know it doesn’t affect the mini pill in any way I’m just wondering if it’s causing bleeding due to hormonal levels? Thanks
