hey guys. i posted the other day about starting augmentin and how there’s conflicting info about on if it impacts birth control effectiveness or not. my question is- is sex before i started this antibiotic now unprotected? like if i had condomless sex (withdrawal) on saturday and started the antibiotic on tuesday, am i at risk for pregnancy? or is it just potentially lowered when im on the actual antibiotic?
second, i am choosing to use backup methods just in case- would it be while im on the antibiotic and 7 days after? or should i skip my next break week for my next pack? what would yall do?
