Thank you for reposting with the proper trigger warning ❤️ I think it’s perfectly normal to experience your fear, but I think you should realise it all happened really recently and you need to give yourself time to heal (mentally). It is probably a good idea to use condoms for a while until you’re ready. Don’t rush anything. Take care of yourself! Something that may help is by really educating yourself on the type of birth control that you’re using, knowing all the ins-and-outs will make it so you are prepared for situations where you miss a pill or you might become unprotected. If you use your birth control correctly, know how it works, when you’re protected, when you’re not, and what interacts it is the best guarantee you will get. Something else that might be worth considering is a semi-permanent method, as they aren’t affected by user error like the pill. But I want to remind you: take it slow, don’t rush things. Only do things you’re ready for!
