So i know if im taking the pill right i wont ovulate or something but is there a way for me to track my ovulation while being on the pill so during that time i be more safe when having sex and use a condom just incase

If you use the pill correctly you don’t ovulate, so there is no ovulation to track.. If you’re using the pill correctly and accounting for anything that can interfere with its effectiveness, you are protected at all times. You’re either fully protected or not at all, there’s no times where you’re more or less protected unless you’re not using it correctly or something has affected your protection.

I do track my ovulation even though when you’re on the pill, you don’t technically have one. I still track when I would usually ovulate for safety reasons and I use the app “Flo”. I’ve been using it for 2 years though.

@sparklediva if you are using the pill correctly you don’t ovulate. So that app is completely inaccurate. Even if you are not on the pill and actually ovulating, those kind of apps are guesstimating at best. To actually properly track ovulation you would need to be taking your basal temperature first thing every morning and use ovulation tests.
