As long as you take your pill as indicated in your pamphlet and account for any absorption inhibitors (vomiting within 3-4 hours of taking the pill, severe diarrhea, certain medications, etc) you are protected from pregnancy.
I had never heard of a mini pill with a break week before, I’m not sure if it’s a newer pill? The hormone in it (drospirenone) is not the same as the one used in other mini pills I’ve heard of (norethindrone for 3 hour mini pills or desogestrel for 12 hour mini pills). Most mini pills do not have a break week at all. I’d definitely make sure to follow the instructions in your pill pamphlet, rather than relying on general rules from the app (most of the general “rules” we discuss on the forum are geared towards combined pills or norethindrone and desogestrel mini pills).
