So my patch day is today Sunday I’m supposed to take it off and replace it but the thing is my prescription is out of stock I have to wait till Tuesday and I don’t wanna take plan b on Monday and Tuesday. Can’t I just leave the patch on for Monday and take it off on Tuesday? And take plan b and replace on Tuesday?

Have you called other pharmacies and checked? If your patch is in a situation like that, your patch day is going to change anyway. Patches effectiveness decreases after 7 days. I personally would be using condoms and 1 plan B based off of when I last had sex during this time.

@kk_____ @kk_____ yes I went to the doctors and she told me I can take a plan b on Monday and Tuesday but isn’t that bad for your body and won’t even work? I last had sex on Saturday. I’m just not sure do I have a plan b on Monday aka today and wait till Tuesday and replace patch?

So you’re on your break week now? I don’t get why your doctor is telling you that you should take plan B. Also her recommending on taking plan B 2 days in a row is absolutely insane.

^ that’s literally not how plan b is supposed to be used so her advice does not make sense. Talk to a pharmacist, their expertise is in medication and how they are supposed to be used.

Right I’ve never heard of taking multiple plan b’s

That would throw your body off so much and that’s not how plan B even works. You take 1 2-3 days MAX after unprotected sex

@Yi_eune @bluerose9 @kk_____ sorry guys I meant I did talk to a pharmacist lol she’s the one that told me that I honestly was shocked when she did tell me that knowing my logic on plan b.. right now this week is my second week so I had to replace on Sunday idk help a girl out 😭 I’m going to call again but knowing what the other pharmacist said I’m praying they don’t give me false info

@Yi_eune yea I did but it didn’t help much, I called an actual doctor today and he told me to take off my patch today and get on plan b today and when I get my patch tomorrow I replace it and use condoms if I’m active wait 7 days. Seems about right he also agreed with me that the pharmacist was wrong for saying that
