Which would you personally choose? Ideally you would have a relationship with both options - safe + comfortable and also passionate + fun. Do you think it’s possible to have it all?

I think a lot of times people confuse highs/lows and toxic behaviors with "passion" and safety/comfort with boredom, so that's why they think you can't have both. Just wanna point out it's normal for a safe, long-term relationship to feel boring sometimes and not always passionate, but you can definitely keep things fun. I used to think that safe/stable meant boring based on my last relationship but I definitely prioritize fun in my current relationship.

You can have both but if I had to pick I’d go for safe and comfortable

I think that with a safe and comfortable relationships, you can develop genuine passion and have fun with the person. In my case is very hard to open up and be passionate if I don’t feel like I’m in a comfortable place with the person which leads me to get in my head and I can’t have fun. It’s all tied together for me
