You are experiencing breakthrough bleeding. It’s a very common side effect especially when you just started, it can last a few days to weeks.

It’s common to do that on birth control. If it doesn’t resolve after a while, you might have to switch kinds.

Normal side effects of the pill. Especially common when you’re new to the pill like you are. Breakthrough bleeding is any bleeding while taking active pills, anything from spotting to very heavy bleeding, anything pale pink to dark brown/black.

It’s normal when starting the pill it can take 3months + for your body to adjust. Break through bleeding can happen at anytime . Just continue to take your pill
