has anyone HAD to leave their birth control pills in a hot car? later this week i will be going to a conference for a day and then going from there to my bf’s house for the weekend, and i will have to keep my bag with pills in my car for 6 or 7 hours and i’m assuming it may get hot. will this make my pills less effective? i have heard they are temperature sensitive, could i bring an insulated lunch box and leave them in there or something lmao

Honestly if it’s deep in a bag or suitcase it should be fine it wouldn’t get hot. Like its not impacted unless the pills are physically damaged or start melting

Can you keep them on you in a pocket or purse? A car that's sitting in direct sunlight on a warm day can get very hot

@elizma_ yeah that's what I always do, because I know if its temperatures I can bear then my pills will generally be good haha
