hi everyone. omggg i feel so awful im not sure if i have food poisoning or im not well but i just woke up and i want to vomit. Its 11:51 and i had my birth control at around half 9. i dont want to be sick incase my pill comes out esp because ive been sexually active

if i vomit can i take another pill? it said on my pamphlet if i vomit within 3-4 hours of taking the pill i might not be as protected

You can take another pill if you throw it up within 3 hours of taking it, but it’s best to wait until you feel well enough to keep it in. If you’re having multiple episodes of vomit I would count the pill as missed.

thanks love. TMI had a watery toilet but i couldn’t vomit i tried to force it but it didn’t come out i just feel really nauseous. is there a certain amount of times u can go toilet for it to count as missed?

5/6+ episodes of completely liquid stool within 24 hours of taking a pill will count as a missed pill. Multiple episodes of completely liquid stool every for several days in a row will compromise your protection too. Until it’s that severe you should be okay
