Hi all. I’m currently on cerazette but would like to stop for a multitude of reasons. Myself and partner had sex yesterday and he finished inside me (have taken pill perfectly before hand) and I was planning on stopping today. Should I take my pill for another 5 days and then stop just to be sure or would I be safe stopping today? Thanks so much 😊

with cerazette any sex before a missed pill is protected

i would probably take todays to be safe, and then stop after that but if you’re worried there’s no harm in taking a week more

I would maybe continue for another month while you get in a routine of using condoms for sex. It’s not necessary to do so in terms of protection but it’s common for unwanted pregnancies to occur because you’re so used to not needing a condom.
