hi! i haven’t used this app in a while cuz i came off bc for surgery, but i’ve been off the pill now since march and i just got my first package today as i had one left before renewal. i’m down for a consultation about getting the implant for about a months time and i’m just wondering would it be okay to suddenly go back on my pill after being off it for months until i get my implant next month? only reason i want to is because i want to be protected from here on out for the meantime! just not sure if it’s a good idea or not

I mean unless you're on your period it'll take you 7 days to be protected if it's a combine pill, anyway, which is already 1/3 of the way to getting your implant. It's not harmful or anything but personally I'd probably just wait and use condoms (which I assume you're already doing) for the few weeks until you get your implant.
