this is probably a dumb question but if you used a sex toy while you had an sti if you clean it with hot water and antibacterial soap can you use it again after infection has cleared up or should you just throw it away. i recently had mycoplasma genitalium and i took the meds and tested negative after but i definitely used my rose when i had the infection before i knew. btw its made out of silicone it’s the love honey rose vibrator

Not a dumb question but if you’ve washed it properly with an antibacterial soap it should be fine. That kind of bacteria can’t live on surfaces like that for long anyway
