I’m 8 days late on my cycle but today on the 8th day I started bleeding. I didn’t take my birth control the other night and I had sex usually when I do that I bleed the next day. This time it didn’t happen like that, I also didn’t take it yesterday and didn’t have sex but also didn’t bleed. I’m not sure why I’m bleeding. Should I take a test?

What pill are you on? Missing pills can lead to bleeding and other side effects. Tests are accurate 3 weeks after sex.

@Justroses456 if you’ve missed 2 pills in a row then it’s likely you’re unprotected and at risk of pregnancy.

You need to take a test 21 days after the unprotected sex.

Also if you’re struggling to take your pills as instructed you should go back to using condoms while you look at other methods that might fit you better.
