How would you guys feel if your boyfriend went to a strip club? Is it valid to be annoyed/upset?

Personally, I wouldn’t be okay with this but neither would my boyfriend if I went to a strip club... It’s just a mutual agreement between us and our relationship. None of us are really interested in them either tbh

I personally don’t care, but these are boundaries that should be discussed beforehand.

Communication! Tell him how you feel and why and let him tell you why he feels he wants to. Set clear boundaries when he goes.

i wouldn’t care if he went but i might care if he got a private lap dance or something. but ya just communicate :)

I’d go with him just because I think it’d be fun to experience it together. (No jealousy motive behind it)

It all depends on your relationship on whether it’s okay to be annoyed or not. If you and your SO set the boundary that no strip clubs are okay and your bf goes anyway, then you have the right to feel annoyed. However, if you have never had a conversation about it and he randomly went to one, then you can’t get upset.

Same with @lexiloo98 . Let him know how you feel about it and he should hopefully understand if you are uncomfortable with it

If he went with friends (for a birthday or bachelor party), I wouldn’t mind. I would mind if he went alone. I’d be down to go with him just for the fun of it
