So my new roommate that I just got is moving out next month because they found a place closer to parents. I work at a pet store, and my brothers wife (sister In law I guess you call her) works as a PSW and makes good money. I don’t wanna work as a PSW but my dad and his girlfriend (who is also my landlord) have been sending me job listings for PSW and listings for PSW training saying that they want me to train and become a PSW because it makes good money. I don’t wanna work as a PSW. It’s not in my interest, and I won’t enjoy the job. I have told my dad and his girlfriend many times that it’s not something that I want to do. So they stopped sending me job listings and posts about PSW training when my roommate moved in, but now that she’s moving out , dad and his girlfriend have been staring to send listings again.

If you don’t wanna do it don’t do it. Simple as that. Though I know how it feels to be pressured by your parents about getting a job. It sucks ass. But don’t do it. You already know you don’t want to so don’t. Find another solution. Another roommate. A different career path. A different way to make more income if that’s the problem. But don’t do something you don’t wanna do just to please someone else. Tell then you’ve already made it clear that’s not in your future and you don’t need for them to be sending you that.

I agree with the post above. Don't do it if you are going to dread going to work every day. You need to be happy with what you do because you spend most of your time at work. Yes, having more money would be nice and help a lot, but you don't want to be miserable over it. You could find a second job, different career altogether, find another roommate. You can ignore the messages and if they ask, just tell them you aren't interested. You already told them you aren't and you can let them know again because maybe they think you will change your mind. But if you don't want the argument, you can ignore it for now
