is it okay to come off ur birth control for a bit if u don’t want to be on it for an amount of time or will it effect me ?

Getting off and back on will increase your chance at blood clots. There is no reason to take a break from birth control. Either stay on or stay off for a long time (1yr+) before getting back on.

@augustC19 you can only take a break week while on the combination pill and for information on that you should refer back to your pamphlet

@Yi_eune would changing it too quickly increase your chance of blood clots or is that only stopping and starting
